This listing is for a vintage wood clarinet. It is marked B, Penzel Mueller, Empire State (model), Long Island City NY. The serial number is H12694. This clarinet was my mother's school instrument in the mid-1940s. It was played some during the 1950s and 1960s and was stored in her closest ever since. It is being sold as-is. I have not attempted to clean anything for fear of damaging it. I believe the bell is made of a composite material. The bell is marked Evette, Sponsored by Buffet, Paris France. Three mouthpieces are included. 1) The Regent #2 has a cap and ligature. The cap is marked Buffet, Crampon & Co., A Paris, France. 2) The Vandoren #2RV appears to be in its original box from Paris, France. 3) The Noblet #2V has a cap and ligature. The well-used clarinet case is marked Lifton. Both latches work, but one has to be manually pushed to catch. There is no key. Two vintage sheet music holders and additional ring clamps are included. Some Rico reeds and reed guard cases are included. Original cork grease and bore oil are included. I will consider serious offers – it is available for pickup in the Fairwood area of Renton.
