It has four cameras. On the front -- tucked in the "Dynamic Island" -- is a "TrueDepth" camera that in addition to supporting Face ID, takes 12 megapixel photos and shoots 4K video. The rear packs a "Pro camera system" with a 48 megapixel "Main" camera, a 12 megapixel "Ultra Wide" camera, and a 12 megapixel "3X Telephoto" camera. The camera system unveils a new 24 megapixel "super-high-resolution" default, allows users to switch between three popular focal lengths -- 24 mm, 28 mm, and 35 mm -- and supports 48 megapixel HEIF images for 4x more resolution than earlier models, as well.

The iPhone 15 Pro uses an "aerospace-grade" Titanium frame with contoured edges over an aluminum "substructure" and has a glass front and back. The front has a "Ceramic Shield" cover for durability and the back has an integrated "MagSafe" magnetic charging connection. It is splash, water, and dust-resistant to the IP68 standard (maximum depth of 6 meters up to 30 minutes). It has four subdued "Titanium" color options -- Natural, Blue, White, and Black.

Internally, the iPhone 15 Pro is powered by a 3.78 GHz "Apple A17 Pro" processor with six cores -- two performance cores and four efficiency cores -- as well as a 6-core GPU, a 16-core Neural Engine, "hardware-accelerated ray tracing", and a "dedicated AV1 decoder" for more efficient video streaming. It has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of flash storage. It also supports 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6E, 5G wireless, Bluetooth 5.3, Thread networking, second generation Ultra Wideband, NFC for Apple Pay, "Express Cards with power reserve" for compatible transit systems, Crash Detection, Emergency SOS and Roadside Assistance via satellite, a USB-C port, a new "Action" button that replaces the previous ring/silent switch, and support for dual eSIMs (it does not support hardware SIM cards at all).
