Description

This is an early 2000s Canadian made larrivee. I changed the pickguard to the tortoise a few years back. The top crack below the bridge was professionally repaired by toms guitar service in Winston-Salem. It has an ebony bridge and fretboard. These do have thin necks with more of a D shape to them. Nut width is 1 11/16". The top is spruce and the back and sides are rosewood. The binding is maple, I think. These are very even sounding guitars across the range. I keep it humidified in the case, which comes with the guitar. It stays in tune quite well. Larrivee makes a great guitar. The finish on the guitar is in very good condition aside from the crack repair. Drop D tunes like "Harvest Moon" from Neil Young sounds great on a larrivee. It currently has a set of lights (12-54) on it.
