Description

The first American Tour De France winner, Greg Lemans, went on to become an advocate for composite bikes, using different materials where they were best suited. This was one of his designs (that has a mostly carbon frame) while most other cyclists were going full carbon. It has Shimano clip in pedals and Shimano Ultegra components with Bontrager Race Lite wheels. I kept it mostly in a shed at a family retreat, to ride in the mountains. My valley bike is slightly larger and better suits my height. This 54 cm bike is probably best suited for someone 5’ 6”- 5’ 9ish. This was a racing bike in its day and can still be used for that. Lighter bikes will cost you more. I never raced but love to ride so, for me, I used it as a road bike.
