1967 Fender Bassman Amp Silver Face Drip Edge (AB165) Up for sale, One of the earliest. original (not a reissue) 1967 Fender Bassman Amp Silver face Drip Edge All Original in Very Clean and incredible working condition. AB165 circuit, all original including all original transformers dated '67 as well as the chasis and '66 date pots. As you might now, despite of the aesthetic is exactly the same than its predecessor Bassman Black Face amps from '65 thru '67. The amp was recapped and retubed in 2023, the two power tubes are RCA's. The preamp tubes are RCA's and Telefunken. It still retains its original a 2-prong AC cable with a newer plug and a newer stand by switch. The amp sounds as incredible as you can expect. It works great with both Bass and Guitar. Beside the tubes the whole amp is all original without any mods. Aesthetically the amp has a beautiful aging, light playwear and patina, something that many boutique amps lovers would appreciate. The amp has some obvious honest little marks of usage, wear and tear that you can expect for its vintage, however the amp is still clean considering its age with its grill cloth in perfect condition with all it's drip edges intact. It also includes all its hardware such as side legs for the attaching/detaching mechanism for the head to lock with the Piggyback cab. This is an incredible and iconic Amplifier that has gained reputation as an Industry standard and has set the bar for hundreds of other amps based on its architecture and legendary sound for guitar and bass.
