Description

Low miles. Many good parts. Solid, Strong Engine. Excellent Shaft Driveline. Straight Frame. Newer seat cover professionally stitched on. 1981 GS650G motorcycle/ bike for repair or parts. Runs good on high speed but currently will NOT idle unless you leave the choke on. Probably will not start right now but you may bring a good battery to crank it over. Carbs have been cleaned but Sediment in tank keeps on plugging idle jets. Needs fuel tank cleaned, boiled & sealed- if it is still salvageable but probably too rusted on inside seam. Needs fuel strainer/ petcock, Choke and throttle cables, Brakes are starting to stick. Some surface rust. Both mirrors are cracked, Exhaust is rusting through on bottom but still usable. NO BATTERY. INCLUDES SIDE COVERS.
