RARE Marshall MXL 9000 Large-Diaphragm Vacuum Tube Cardioid Condenser Microphone The MXL 9000 is a large diaphragm tube condenser microphone with fixed cardioid pattern. It uses a GENUINE 12AT7 tube, which is mounted behind the single circuit board, and transformer less output electronics. The capsule is a 32mm K67 style, with only one diaphragm metalized. The MXL 9000 Microphone comes with the following: - High isolation, completely high quality metal Shock Mount -15' 7-pin cable for MXL-PS-T - MXL-PS-T dedicated power supply with 250 Volt fuse (no phantom power needed). - 3-prong standard three-prong IEC power cable for MXL-PS-T. - 20' standard 3-pin XLR cable - Printed Manual - Foam insert In excellent condition with only minimal, light surface scratches, mostly from going into the shock mount. It was only used in a studio a handful of times. It's been tested and works perfectly. PNote: I misplaced the retail box, but I have it in a cardboard box with the custom foam insert. A high quality locking steal case can be included for $75 (I can use this for my other mics, so the price is firm). This is a rare and wonderful mic for the right application. Purchased for ~$300 a long time ago when quality was high. It would be challenging to replace this for 2x that price today. IMO this is the best tube mic for under $600 and you're getting it for much less than that. I just have many expensive mics, so I just don't need it. However, I'd rather keep it than selling it for less, so please no low ball offers. This is already priced right.
