Description

Selling my 2021 YZ125. I purchased it in January 2024 from Beaverton Motorcycles in Oregon with approximately 80 hours on it. It now has 109.7 hours, and that won’t be increasing—unfortunately, I injured my back recently on a hill climb and have decided to 'take a break' from riding (much to the relief of my girlfriend). Fortunately/unfortunately the bike had a nice soft landing on my back so no damage to the bike. Maintenance & Performance: At around 100 hours, I rebuilt the top end and the carburetor. The bike is running better than ever and is fully dialed for local trail riding. It no longer fouls plugs like it did when I first got it. If you're planning to hit the track, you might want to re-jet for that style of riding. -JD Jetting kit installed -JD jet block gasket (a known weak point on these TMX 38 carbs) -Wossner forged piston -Cylinder replated by Millennium Technologies (piston and rings sized by them too) -Silencer repacked and Enduro Engineering spark arrestor installed shortly after purchase I have receipts from Millennium. I haven’t compression tested it since the rebuild—it felt significantly faster, so I left it at that. You're welcome to bring a tester and check it. Cosmetic Condition: Mechanically solid, but cosmetically used. Here’s a quick rundown: -Dent on the expansion chamber (not deep, didn’t affect performance, so I left it) -Right front plastic is broken in half (was like that when I bought it; ~$30 to replace) -Plastics have typical trail wear—scrapes and scratches -Grips are torn and could use replacing Consumables: -Front tire is solid, rear is ‘good’ I would say (missing a lug or two but not heavily worn) -Air filter has one ride on it (Air filter cleaned or replaced almost every ride, sometimes every other) -Transmission oil has one ride on it (Shell Rotella T6 15W-40, changed every two rides) -Pre-mix: Yamalube 2R at 32:1 with ethanol-free premium Extras Included: -Spare gaskets -Rotella T6 oil; not a ton left but some -2-stroke mixing cup -Spark plug -Multiple Twin Air filters (used but cleanable) -Oil/air filter cleaning jars -Triangle stand + center stand Optional Gear for Sale: Since it will probably be a long time, if ever, that I ride again, I also have some gear available for extra: -Alpinestars Tech 7 boots (size 10) -LS2 helmet (medium) We can talk about pricing if you’re interested. **Important Note on Title** When I purchased the bike in Oregon, I delayed registering it to avoid the $550 tax. I took care of it about a week ago, and I now have the WA registration and ORV stickers in hand. The WA title is currently in process and the clerk said it should arrive in 4–6 weeks (now 3-5 weeks). I do not yet have the physical title, but it will be mailed to me. If you're interested in buying the bike before the title arrives, I’m happy to draft a legally binding contract guaranteeing the title will be transferred as soon as I receive it. I can even arrange a notary to be present for peace of mind. For ORV purposes, you can legally ride the bike using the current registration and stickers. You also don’t need the title to register the bike in your name—just a bill of sale will suffice at the DOL. Figured I would throw the ad up now but if no one wants to deal with the title delay I am happy to wait until it arrives before editing the post.
