It's built like a brick house with a 1.3 amp motor, Zig-Zag stitching, works with a twin needle too, has button holing and all metal gears (nothing plastic). I don't have the physical original instructions manual but I can provide you with a free digital copy of it. The white 764 uses regular class 15 metal bobbins and you can also attach a snap on low shank adapter presser foot holder to quickly snap and interchange your sewing machine's feet (zipper foot, button sewing foot, etc.) & it takes LED bulbs! How cool is that? ;) This sewing machine is great for working with various layers of heavy duty fabrics such as denim, garment leather, canvas etc. The 764 introduced during the 1964 New York World's Fair really shows the degree to which the other than Singer makers were willing to go to attract buyers and differentiate them selves from the old generation.
