Description

Made by Syroco Wood in the 1930s in a Hollywood Regency design featuring undulating, overlapping leaves. Very elegant with wonderful textural appeal and an overall rectangular mirror. Ready to hang with wire on the back. I've seen these in gilt as well, but this is a wam ecru or off-white that has a time-worn patina. Could definitely be gold leafed or rub and buffed per your decor desires. Velveteen back. Used to have an easel back that is no longer present. Wire added by previous owner to hang. Mirror glass in excellent condition. The velvet backer board is attached with brads. For the more DIY-friendly folk, one could remove the back, switch out the mirror for clear glass and use as a unique picture frame. Very heavy.
