Its a 2 cycle motor it runs great fires right up it needs a few minor things but it can be used right away if you wanted to the controls on the arm all work kill switch its all working the choke control that goea to the outside of the case is missing but you can choke it and start it without the cover on then replace the cover and go and the other conytrol that is broken is the fuel switch shaft that goes from front to back you can turn the fuel on and off but it also has to be done with the cover offother than those minor things this outboard troller is in great shape fires right up and sounds healthy its a good little engine
