These guitars were manufactured from 1977 to 1981. In my opinion, older guitars have warmer and richer tones than new ones. This is Yamaha's work horse guitar - built like a tank! You can take it out to any gig, or play it by a glowing warm campfire and it will sound beautiful and loud! This is one of my all-time favorite guitars from Yamaha. Playing this guitar, I get very emotional when I hear its brilliant, balanced and boisterous projection. Similar guitars have sold for $500 and more! This is a super bargain at this price! Please do NOT get this guitar confused with the F-335 or newer FG 335 ii models. Those guitars are copies - this is the original!
