This is a beautiful mid-century pecan wood bedroom set crafted by Unique Furniture Makers which includes two twin headboards and footboards, set of side rails for each bed, set of three bed slats for mattress support for each bed and one nightstand. This furniture set was carefully crafted by skilled carpenters in the early part of the mid-century era and comparable to Henredon, Widdicombe and other high quality furniture makers from that time period. These pieces are made from solid pecan wood, and the drawer pulls are also made from solid pecan wood. The drawers all have dovetail joints and wooden drawer rails and there are dust catcher board underneath every drawer – something you just don’t see anymore. Approximate Measurements: Headboard: No 816 3/3 Panel Bed / Pecan Width: 43” Height: 36” Footboard: No 816 3/3 Panel Bed / Pecan Width: 43” Height: 24.5” Nightstands: No 807-A Nite Stand / Pecan Width: 22.5” Depth: 16” Height: 25” There are minor nicks and scratches on these pieces due to storage. Overall, they are in very good condition. Unique Furniture Makers was a quality furniture company established in Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 1854 and had a long history in furniture production. Initially, the company was named J.C. Spach Wagon Works, Inc. and later transitioned into furniture manufacturing. The company closed down due to tornado damage.
