Description

Dept. 56 Heritage Village Collection – Dickens’ Village Series “T. Wells Fruit & Spice Shop” – 1988 Hand-painted porcelain. Includes original box, Styrofoam insert, and light cord. Excellent, display-ready condition. The “T. Wells Fruit & Spice Shop” is an early Dickens’ Village release with classic late-1980s detailing: multi-paned shop windows, a projecting storefront, vibrant garlands, and brick-and-timber construction. The hand-painted colors remain crisp, and the sculpting includes textured roof snow, chimney detailing, and a warm, traditional English shopfront aesthetic. All structural elements are intact, and the inspector sticker is still attached. No chips, cracks, paint loss, or repairs noted — a clean, collector-worthy example. The piece lights beautifully when plugged in and displays strongly from multiple angles. This early-year Dickens building is increasingly hard to find complete and in this level of preserved condition.
