Let me start off by saying this is a beautiful looking speaker.the JBL Pulse 5 is a amazing speakerin its own way .This speaker has a light show thats mesmerizing. I thought it was sought of gimmicky at first untill i put in a dark room and started to learn how to use the App to use all the different light effects and it amazed me.The sound is pretty decent it will fill a small to a large room up with good sound even though the bass isn't that strong ,but its so much you can get from a speaker this size.If you want a real party speaker i think you should get one of JBL larger speaker.But if you want something with good sound and a amazing light show to set the mood, get the JBL Pulse 5.
