Description

10.5 inch-tall Flandria pitcher by Boch Frêres La Louviere (now Villeroy and Boch). Made in Belgium. Antique from the early 1930s featuring the classic understated elegance of the period. Likely was part of a wash basin pitcher and bowl set, could be used as a beverage pitcher or a vase for a large bouquet of flowers or simply a statement piece. It is in excellent antique condition--no cracks, chips or crazing that I could see. Some of the gilt detail has rubbed off in places, namely the top edge and of course the handle from use, as is to be expected. It could use a little scrub clean. There are a couple of small green marks (pictured) that seem to be under the glaze.
