Vintage 50s colonial medieval old world style table trunk fantasy pirate ship cottage cabin farmhouse Very unusual piece. It seems to be 40s 50s done in kind of a colonial cabin style. But it could be used in so many ways. If your kid is into fantasy or Harry Potter or something like that, it would be a great toy chest and play table. You could remove or put shorter legs if you like. Or you can shorten it for a coffee table or use as an occasional table or end or corner table. It could fit in with an eclectic or maximalist decor, or a medieval or Renaissance type of decor perhaps. Or, perhaps you want to decorate your place like a pirate ship. This would be perfect. If you play dungeons & dragons it would be a pretty cool gaming table. Maybe you could put an old style lock on it, or fold up one side and put gold and jewelry and Jewels in it. The only limit is your imagination. You don't even have to know what you want to do with it. Just grab it and you can figure that out later. You know you want it.
