The compartment in front depicts Alice painting the roses red, while the ever-watchful Queen of Hearts looks down upon the scene. On the back, the words “Off with their heads!” serve as a reminder to those who dare to disturb the Queen’s royal gardens. Note the coordinating red-and-black motif on the inside lining. In addition to printed details, there are pockets on either side, an enamel zipper charm, and embroidered and applique work.
