Description

An early 20th century Aelteste Volkstedter Porzellanfabrik candlestick. This elaborately molded piece features a cherub perched on a tree branch. It is topped with a fabricated floriate sconce. This figure is flanked by lush foliage and a cascading waterfall which protrudes over the scalloped, gilded base. The piece is marked to the underside with a crown logo and ‘Germany’, indicating a production date between 1(contact info removed). Condition - wear to underside; minor marks and gentle wear throughout; sconce has been added and piece has been repainted. Dimensions 3.75" W x 7.75" H x 3.75" D
