Trek Wahoo 26 Bike, 13” inch frame, 26”inch tires, Great for middle school child, well maintained Our 8 year old was struggling to learn to ride on smaller 20 inch bike and after lots of tears we invested in a better bike. We took the bike to Cricket Creek Prairie path and he has been riding nonstop. It's been pure joy for him. This is a very well maintained 1x7 speed bike that feels fast and solid. Wonderful for going to school or along the Prairie Path. The bike is extremely light, and can be serviced by the rider very easily. The weather is perfect for the weekend to get out and enjoy some terrific for trail riding. The bike offers premium Alpha Silver Aluminum frame and is a versatile bike suitable for middle schoolers standing 4'9" - 5'3 according to the trek website. This frame size is commonly found on gravel bikes and is a great fit for riders with sufficient balance, coordination, and motor skills to confidently ride, steer, and use hand brakes. Tires are slightly under 2 inches, good tread and perfect for sidewalks and riding crushed limestone or gravel. Still lots of time in the season. Used this around the neighborhood as well as the Jump line. Can easily shred a trail if you're experienced enough. Great first geared bike! Easy to learn, maintain and practice shifting.
