I have only had this mattress for one year, and always used a heavy-duty waterproof mattress protector between the mattress and sheets: no stains, odor, or any signs of wear. And it’s incredibly comfortable! I sleep like a baby on this mattress. Only one year old, in a no-pet, no-kid household.
