1990 Nissan 240sx

1990 Nissan 240SX – 5-Speed – KA24DE – Driver / Project 1990 Nissan 240SX, 5-speed manual, KA24DE. Car runs strong and starts every time. Engine has good power and torque and has been reliable for me. Smogged and ready for transfer. Recent maintenance and upgrades: • New tires and alignment (about 2 months ago) • New battery • Fresh oil change • Radiator flushed • Exhaust leak repaired a few months back • Full upgraded exhaust – sounds great • New heater hoses (3) • Brakes done about 3 months ago • Heater works • Coilovers and adjustable suspension • New fuel filter • New Walbro fuel pump • Slotted rotors • Headers • Electric fans with temp sensor • Aluminium radiator • Momo steering wheel • JDM tail lights • JDM front side markers Dash is wrapped in a stitched leather cover. Cons (because I’m not here to waste anyone’s time): • AC does not work. It leaked out again. I found the leak, tried fixing it, it held for a few days, then leaked out again. I’m done chasing it. • Dash lights sometimes flicker on and off • Normal rust for a 1990 car • Runs a bit rich – possibly O2 sensor or injectors. I haven’t dug into it. You’ll notice a bit of fuel smell. • Idle can dip briefly on cold start This is not a trailer queen and it’s definitely not perfect. It’s a driver and a running project. I just don’t have the time anymore and I’m taking a loss on it — that’s the game when you actually fix and drive old cars, rather then just trying to flip them. If you’re looking for a show car or something to take your girlfriend to a fancy restaurant, this is NOT the car for you. If you want a solid, running 240SX with character and a retro look, this one’s it. I’ve driven this car to San Diego and back multiple times just last month with zero issues. It turns heads everywhere it goes, but it does need some love. Clean title in hand.
