Description
Thyrsostachys siamensis is one of two bamboo species belonging to the genus Thyrsostachys. It grows up to 7 to 13m tall. It is native to Yunnan, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam and naturalised in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia. The plant is also known as long-sheath bamboo, monastery bamboo, Thai bamboo, Thai umbrella bamboo, umbrella bamboo, and umbrella-handle bamboo. somewhat rare and hard to find bamboo. I have two 15 gallon plants, both plants are about 12 ft+ tall. Completely rooted and ready to plant. If I don't sell these quickly I'll be moving them up to a 25 gallon pot and the price will be doubled this year. This variety is somewhat rare, I've been growing two of these on my property and they never miss a beat growing. This bamboo takes being hedged very well. Look it up online for additional information. Thanks for looking. Delivery and planting are available at additional charges. $180 or both for $345 Last chance before price increases
