Built in the 1930’s and 40’s, this art deco waterfall design was all the rage for newlyweds looking to have a modern alternative to boxy carved furniture of their own parents. This piece provides an excellent example. Freshly refinished, the damage was fixed, and the painted areas are high quality Wise Owl Enamel in Linen, and protected with polyurethane. Each drawer is lined with a cute modern print. The mirror was a challenge. It had some age related damage to the silvering. It does provide an antiqued look many people covet. It could be re-silvered, and it would be worth it too, if that is your cup of tea. I’ve included a pic without the mirror, as I think the piece works without it as well.
