1997 Boat with Trailer – Reliable, Fun, and Ready for the Water! If you’re looking for a great-running boat that’s ready for fun on the water, this 1997 model might be perfect for you. It’s not a showroom piece, but it runs strong and performs great. Powered by a 5.7L V8 MerCruiser inboard/outboard, this boat has plenty of power for cruising or towing. The engine was replaced and the lower end rebuilt before I brought it to California, so it’s solid mechanically. Cosmetically, it shows its age — but it’s a dry, dependable, and enjoyable boat. It stays completely dry after a full day on the water (no leaks or issues). Comes ready to launch, including: Trailer (current registration and paperwork in hand) Life vests Fire extinguisher Air horn Side bumpers Anchor Tie ropes Everything you need to be legal and ready to go on the water. The driver-side windshield has been replaced with plexiglass, which has a little yellowing. It doesn’t affect use, but I want to mention it for transparency. A replacement glass windshield can be found used if desired. Overall, this is a great boat for anyone who wants performance and fun without the high price tag. Thanks.
