Behold the Epiphone Les Paul Modern Figured guitar in a stunning, hard-to-find, Cafe Latte Fade finish. The finish, including the flamed Maple top, was one of the major factors when I decided to buy this one. It's a Limited Run and getting harder to find. The Ebony fretboard is beautiful, so much nicer than Pau Ferro or Indian Laurel (whatever the heck those are). Epiphone has been refining its Les Paul for years, and this, in my opinion, is the pinnacle of that effort. Classic Features: ▪ Humbucker (Epiphone ProBucker) pickups, also known as Patent Applied For (PAF). ▪ Timeless Les Paul, single-cutaway design with a bound body and neck. ▪ Tune-o-Matic bridge and tailpiece. Modern Enhancements: ▪ Chambered Mahogany body for weight relief. ▪ Grover Locking Tuners ▪ Graph Tech Nut ▪ Coil-Splitting with a Phase Reverse Circuit. ▪ Mahogany Asymmetrical Slim Taper neck with Contoured Heel. It's been professionally set up and is ready to go go GO! If you've made it this far (congratulations to you, thanks!), You might be asking: "If this Les Paul is so spectacular, why on earth would you sell the thing?". This is, of course, a fair question. I'm just not a Les Paul guy. Try as I might, they're not for me. So, despite the long list of pluses, I am sticking with 335s. The guitar was $700 new, the case is $130. That's $830 before tax, so this is priced more than fair. So my first intent is to TRADE this for an equally mint Epiphone ES-335 Pro or a Sheraton, or a Rivera. I will also consider trading for a Fender Jazz bass. This is a LOCAL sale and I will NOT ship. Other than a 335-shaped object or a Fender bass, I am not interested in trading.
