Character: Super Saiyan Gotenks (from the Dragon Ball Z / Dragon Ball Super franchise) Size: Approximately 2.5 inches tall. Material: Painted PVC plastic. Base: Included circular translucent red display stand. Gotenks is a uniquely powerful and comedic fused character from Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball universe. He is born through the Fusion Dance technique executed by Son Goten (Goku's youngest son) and Trunks (Vegeta's son). Gotenks was created during the Majin Buu Saga of Dragon Ball Z. With Goku returning to the Afterworld and Vegeta deceased, Goku and Piccolo train the two young Saiyan hybrids to perform the Metamoran Fusion Dance. Gotenks was humanity's final hope to defeat the world-threatening Majin Buu. Because the Fusion Dance requires both participants to perfectly synchronize their movements and match their power levels exactly, Goten and Trunks failed their initial attempts—resulting in funny, flawed variants, including a morbidly obese and an emaciated version of the warrior. Gotenks' personality is a magnified mixture of both boys' worst habits. He inherits Trunks' cockiness and pride, alongside Goten's childish whininess and playful nature. Despite his overwhelming power, Gotenks is highly arrogant, boastful, and treats life-or-death battles like a playground game. He prefers dramatic showboating, often creating ridiculous names for standard moves and intentionally dragging out fights just to look cool. Despite his immature attitude, Gotenks possesses a genius-level combat intuition. He is famous for several notable milestones: Super Saiyan 3 Breakthrough: He is the youngest individual in the franchise to achieve the immensely powerful Super Saiyan 3 form. He achieved this feat purely through intense training within the Room of Spirit and Time. Bizarre Attack Arsenal: His childish creativity allowed him to develop highly specialized, unique techniques that inflict potent damage. His signature attacks include the Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack (where he spits out explosive, sentient ectoplasmic ghosts of himself) and the Galactic Donut (an energy ring used to trap and compress enemies). Strict Limitations: Like all characters born from the Fusion Dance, Gotenks only exists for a 30-minute time limit before automatically splitting back into Goten and Trunks. Furthermore, powering up into his Super Saiyan 3 form expends so much energy that it shortens his total fusion time down to roughly 5 minutes.
