I build and maintain electric and non-electric recumbent trikes. Far safer than 2 wheels, if you are balance challenged, these get you out again! They aren’t your grannies tricycle! Some can achieve speeds as high as 38 miles an hour with a Bafang 1500 bottom crank electric motor and battery. I also have two that will achieve speed of 30 miles an hour using hub motors. I have one brand new Utah Trike Fat Tad at 1/3 of the price listed online , unpowered.
