Seller motivated! I’m selling my 26 foot MacGregor sailboat with trailer. The package includes a 6 hp Tohatsu four stroke outboard motor with long shaft. This MacGregor 26 is a fun, family friendly bay boat, it’s clean, in good condition and ready to sail today! The trailer has brand new tires, it’s been painted, updated electrical wiring installed complete with new taillights. Here are some of the features included with the MacGregor 26 Classic Sailboat; The water ballast holds 1,200 lbs. and can be easily drained (and required for towing) for a lighter weight trailering experience. The Tohatsu 6 hp outboard motor starts easy and runs smooth. It uses unleaded fuel and has low running hours. The cabin sleeps four comfortably, two in the forward berth and two in the back making it a fun camping adventure with family or friends. Anchor out in a quiet and secluded part of the bay for an overnighter or a weekend trip. A great feature the MacGregor 26 has is an enclosed porta-potty with a latching door, privacy is always a good thing. This sailboat comes with three sails, a mainsail, a roller furling jib, and even an extra sail, a jib, protected in a nylon duffel bag. A self-bailing cockpit, although capsizing and extreme flooding is never a problem as long as the water ballast tank is full. The swing keel allows you to travel in areas of shallow water in the lake or bay and can help you maneuver through sandbars and shallows without getting stuck like sailboat’s that have a fixed keel.
