Vintage Magnavox CDB 482 CD player with remote. (Needs repair.)

Physically the CD player is in very good condition. One of the best sounding CD players I’ve owned. It has the Philips TDA 1543 DAC chip. It was working great until about a week ago. Unfortunately it no longer powers up. In the past it would just shut off. I would then wiggle the power cable on the back where it plugs into the unit and it would come on. Wiggling the plug/ cable in the back no longer works. Not sure if it’s the plug in the back or the on/off switch. The power cable unplugs from the unit. If I push the power button, it lights up for a split second then shuts off. I also have the remote for the CD player. As with any vintage/used equipment, Item is sold as is where no warranty is given or implied. Edit 10/28: I’ve had a few people ask me if it had the Philips DAC chip. I opened the unit up and, yes it does. I’ve taken a picture of the chip and posted a picture. I also found the remote to the unit.
