These were specifically made for kids that wanted to get their “Bmx On”even while stationed all over the world.These were only sold on American military bases.They are high end Mongoose Bmx bikes that were labeled as Blue Max. They are rare . It is the nicest 1986 Blue Max in the world . It is not exactly stock though, handlebar stem is improved with an NOS blue stem that is the exact model,grips have been improved to blue A’ME grips & blue with white iron cross donuts,blue iron cross valve stem caps, and a pro mongoose donut seat post clamp and has a blue mongoose racing saddle.I have put a new blue and chrome ybn chain and new blue brake pads. This bike has never been washed or polished. I purchased new re-pop pads made by Mongoose for Blue max.
