Description With the Magewell Pro Convert SDI Plus to NDI you convert an SD/HD/3G-SDI signal to a NDI stream. The Pro Convert features an SD/HD/3G-SDI input and an SD/HD/3G-SDI loop-through output with embedded audio. The converter supports SD/3G-SDI input signals up to 2048 x 1080 at 60fps. The RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port supports encrypted NDI output up to 2048 x 1080 at 60fps. Possibilities of the Magewell Pro Convert SDI Plus to NDI The SD/HD/3G-SDI loop-through function allows you to view the incoming video signal on a monitor, while the NDI-encoded stream is sent via Ethernet to various NDI-compliant encoding or streaming applications such as OBS, XSplit, vMix, Wirecast, and others will be sent. The mini DIN-8 tally/PTZ port provides tally input for pass-through and for use with the Magewell Pro Convert SDI Plus to NDI status LEDs. The LEDs also indicate the status of the power supply and the input and output signal. Power Options and Mounting The Magewell Pro Convert SDI Plus to NDI is powered by the 5V AC adapter connected to the USB 2.0 Type-B port or via PoE (Power over Ethernet) via the RJ45 port. The Pro Convert can be managed with a web UI to configure settings and perform firmware updates via the USB port. The 1/4″-20 mounting thread allows for rack, bracket or stand mounting. The Pro Convert comes with a USB cable, a 5V AC adapter, a mini DIN-8 cable and an L-bracket for mounting.
