Description
Have an old Wii laying around your house that you're just not sure what to do with? There's no better use for an old Wii than as a retro gaming emulation machine. From the Atari 2600 up to the GameCube, the Wii can emulate just about anything, and in the GameCube's case play the games natively. If you're not comfortable messing around with all the files and to make sure your Wii is going to work right, then let me mod it for you! I perform a full backup of the Wii's NAND before doing any modifications so if the console ever gets bricked, you'll be able to restore it and have a working console. I will set up any of the emulators you want on your console, except for the one to play PS1 games as l've never gotten it to work. Other emulators are extremely buggy and don't tend to work well like the Sega Saturn. I also have nearly complete game libraries for most of the consoles the Wii can emulate which I can install depending on the amount of storage. An external hard driver or SD card is needed for modding to be done. The preferred method is a 2tb external hard drive because that's actually capable of holding all the games I have with a bit of extra space left over. It is possible to do with an SD card as well, but you can't get them with enough storage to fit everything and cost substantially more. If you provide a 2tb or larger hard drive then the cost is $40 for the service and that's it. If you provide an SD card then the cost does go up substantially because of how much longer it takes to go through the libraries of games to transfer the desired titles individually. When it comes to SD cards, I can only guarantee it will work long term if it is made by Sandisk. SD cards from other companies I will work on, but if it dies then I won't be able to help out. Sandisk is the only one with a very good track record for reliability with SD cards on the Wil. If you have any questions feel free to ask! I'm happy to answer any you might have both before modding your Wii and afterwards. (I also mod DSi, 3DS, Wii U, PS3, PS, Vita, and V1 Switch. Prices vary)
