Description

Custom built fuzz face. Original Dallas Arbiter Silicon circuit from 1969. I added the bias knob as it’s a handy being able to bias transistors from outside without having to open up and adjust. I chose bc108 in q1 and bc183L in q2. Both Hfe around 240-280 range. All carbon composite resistors. Vintage spec electrolytic caps. I tested all parts to be as close to schematic as possible. Sounds great. $80 is a steal considering these things go for over $1,000 for an original. This is as close as most will ever get to playing one. And it’s a shit ton of fun too!
