Marshall 1959 Super Lead JMP 100-watt (1974) Lay-Down Pwr Transformer

This exceptional, vintage 100-watt Marshall Super Lead, made in 1974, is one of the finest sounding 100-watt Marshalls I have had the pleasure of owning, this amp has the goods. These old 4-input amps are getting extremely hard to find in this condition, and this one has exceptional tone. The amp has normal wear marks for a 52-year-old amp, it looks great (see the photos, they are part of the description, and show the condition very well). I originally purchased this rare, Canadian 1974 Marshall for its great condition and stellar tone. It has been one of my two most prized amps for the years I have owned it. The lay-down power transformer is from Merren Audio, and was wound to order specifically for this ’74 Marshall, and was professionally installed. The output transformer, choke, mustard caps, knobs, feet, tolex, etc., appear to be original. Professionally maintained since I’ve owned it, only a small amount of normal upkeep over the years, this amp is internally sound and ready to go. Speaker jacks are wired at 16 ohms and 8 ohms to protect the output transformer, as I had done with all my Marshalls, this is easily reversible, should you desire. I'm including a Marshall vinyl cover, as shown. This is a 52-year-old vintage amplifier. It is being sold as-described. Due to the age of the amplifier, no guarantees are made regarding future reliability. Please review all photos and ask all questions before purchase. To the best of my knowledge, the information provided above is accurate; however, as with any 52-year-old amplifier, I cannot guarantee the originality of every component. Please review all photographs carefully and perform your own due diligence. The non-original tubes shown in the photos are the tubes included, with the amp properly biased and ready to go. Cash and Carry, may consider Tonex or Fender FRFR and cash for trade, no low ball offers. This amp is the real deal.
