Overview: Up for sale is a lovely impressionist oil painting on canvas by listed Morro Bay artist, Jean Gronbeck, titled "Foggy Bay." This piece shows a number of boats in a marina on Winchester Bay in Oregon. Jean had a gallery with her husband in Morro Bay, and frequently exhibited in Morro Bay, Los Angeles and Oregon. Signed at lower right and en verso. It is also titled on verso and includes the original gallery tag. Writing in pen on back of stretcher frame identifies the scene as Winchester Bay. Incredibly well-done. Framed in a nice midcentury style frame with linen matting. Condition: Painting and frame are in excellent condition. Measurements: Painting measures 28 inches wide x 22 inches high. Frame measures approximately 35.25 inches wide x 29.25 inches high.
