Buy tungsten carbide, upgrade the firmware, add lubricant, cool the spindle, slow the feed rate... it will. What version is it? GG3. It needs to be sent to DD for upgrade to GG3-S that costs 300 dollars plus round trip shipping. Then you have to buy the 100% kit which they will put on or you can do later. If you want to use this for anything else, it's a 2.5-axis grbl cnc machine with an underpowered spindle and a limited work area. It's amazing at what it advertised. It's an awful general purpose cnc. Why buy yours when a new one is 2500? You don't have to wait a year to get mine. But the new one will not need the 300 dollar upgrade. If you know what you are doing, you could do a better job upgrading this yourself. This is what led me to just building my own. Why did you build your own? See above. But 2500? Yes. To get to my door with the ability to cut it cost me 3500+ and I waited over a year. I discounted the upgrade cost, then added "dont wait a year for them to get the 1 month waitlist clear" fee. 1st qtr 2025 it says? Lol right... Coincidentally, it's the same as the purchase costs.
