Selling this coil machine that has some really great history to it. The frame is of course a Jonesy squareback, but it was also an original Bill Jones frame dating back from the 1950s. I got this machine from Steve godoy from the godoy twins, who are legendary tattooists, machine builders, and pro skateboarders from the 1990s. They also wrote a book called "Tattoo Machines and their Secrets" and this machine was pictured in it, and written about. So the frame itself is original built by Bill Jones back from the 1950s, and the machine was built up by the Godoys, maybe Steve godoy in particular. Godoys is a known and innovative machine building company and builders, who not only were geniuses who pushed the envelope as far as being experts and builders for the tattoo machine and authors of one of the greatest tattoo machine books of all time. (This was featured in it), but they also invented and hold the patent to a number of tattoo machine related inventions , maybe most notable the frameless tattoo machine. They also had a unique and original tube vice invention and patent. Both these qualities as far as it being an original Bill Jones frame and a godoy build, as well as the history of this machine make this highly sought after and valuable machine for the collector. Also this frame was acquired through Lyle Tuttle in ,the 1990s through a trade for a Owen Jensen machine, and was at one time a part of his legendary and historically tattoo memorabilia and machine collection. This machine also runs as it should and is in excellent condition especially being that the frame is about 80 years old. asking $400 for machine.
