The cushioned walking platform reduces the strain on your knees and makes for a more comfortable workout. The console includes a book holder and a water-bottle holder. The console display provides feedback about your workout, including elapsed time, distance, speed and calories burned. Hold the pulse sensors on the handrails to display your heart rate. The EKG2 has a maximum speed of 10 mph and a maximum incline of 10 percent. The incline is automatic; you adjust it with the control buttons on the console. Change the speed quickly using the 10 quick-speed buttons on the console.
