2010 Richard Woods Shadow

Richard Woods 24' sailing Catamaran in need of paint and repairs. Noticed some water intrusion last month through the front beam socket. Boat will need to be hauled and repaired. Wood inside is still solid, but the beam pads topside at least will need replacing. Temporary plastic covers over front beams in place for now. Boat will need to be hauled out and disassembled for full inspection and repair. This boat is designed to fit on a flatbed trailer when disassembled, but builder modifications may require the front beam and bowsprit to be cut apart to fully disassemble. Selling because I have house repairs that take priority and this project will end up sitting for longer than I would like. If it doesn't sell in a month or two I will haul it and put it into storage while I work on my home for the foreseeable future. I'd rather it go to a good home and get sailing again soon. Delivery within the puget sound area is possible pending calm weather and travel arrangements. 5hp honda that runs reliably but could use a carb cleaning and minor maintenance. Max speed around 5.5 knots. This is a seaworthy cruising catamaran with minimalist fitout. Excellent boat for the San Juans or Inside Passage. No electrical system, hatches, or windows installed at this time. Would be a short project for a great adventure boat, and a serious shortcut over building from scratch. This boat is honestly overkill for the singlehanded daysailing in protected waters that I end up doing most of the time, but it works well for that too.
