This 1956 B3 was chopped for legendary jazz musician Barney McClure. (Chopped = the bass pedals were removed to create a more portable and universally applicable instrument) Perfect for a studio that wants that undeniable B3 sound without the bulk and headache of a full wood console organ. Recently serviced and repainted professionally to give it that great black polish. Everything is functioning perfectly; the spring reverb tank, the vibrato and chorus effects, the contacts and tone wheel generator. All are in fantastic condition. The internals of the organ have been preserved immaculately. Very often chopping a B3 will mess with the tone, but this particular unit was modded so well that its tone is identical to any church B3. A particularly useful custom addition is the “bass amp” output jack (1/4 inch ts) which allows you to run a second signal to a bass amp to reinforce the low end in a beautiful way. The 860 Leslie is included with the B3, and packs a lot of rotary power in a smaller package. The 860 is a fantastic sounding and reliable Leslie Cabinet that will keep functioning for decades to come! The organ comes with an 11-pin Leslie cable, a custom pedal board with all necessary 1/4 cables, Hammond lubricating oil, and Barney McClure’s personal documents / notes / organ materials / and manuals.
