If configured with 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB of storage, it is equipped with 8 GB of onboard RAM. If it is configured with 1 TB or 2 TB of storage, it is equipped with 16 GB of onboard RAM. Other notable new features include a Thunderbolt / USB 4 port, a new 12 megapixel Ultra Wide front camera with a "Center Stage" feature that automatically pans and zooms to keep subjects in frame, and 5G support, as well. Like previous recent iPad Pro models, the iPad Pro 11" (3rd Gen) models also support LiDAR, "Face ID" authentication, external keyboards and trackpads, and the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen (A2051, MU8F2AM/A, US$129) that charges via a magnetic connection on the side of the device. Along with the aforementioned front camera, it has a dual rear camera "system" with a 12 megapixel wide angle and 10 megapixel ultra-wide angle lens. In addition to Thunderbolt / USB 4, other connectivity for this model includes 5G, dual-band 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) with HT80 with MIMO capability and Bluetooth 5.0. It has five microphones and a four speaker system, too. The battery life of this iPad Pro model is reportedly 10 hours "surfing the web on Wi-Fi or watching video" or 9 hours "surfing the web using cellular data." This model has a software-based eSIM that can be used to switch between some carriers as well as a nano SIM slot to use "traditional" SIM cards.
