These were bought USED from Hawthorne stereo approximately two years ago for $1,700. Less than a year ago I got a hold of Carl Marchisotto President / CEO Nola Speakers 1511 Lincoln AvenueHolbrook, NY 11741 owner of Alon / Nola speakers and ordered the upgrade tweeters at his suggestion that came in the Alon V and the next step up (i can't remember what the other is called at the moment). But these tweeters also radiates sound out the back of them just like the mid-range does. Anyway $325 for tweeters. Last month i took the woofers to Morgan sound in Lynnwood and had them check them out and refoam them. $200. I have 2 pairs with same upgrade and this pair is the newer version ( cosmetic differences only). Anyway these are not cosmetically perfect but they are my favorite speakers of ALL time. I am in these $2225.00+ paying my technician to do the fragile soldering on the drivers. So no I will NOT take $900 but and when i get stupid offers I will be quick to block you forever.
