Then, just like the real Gold process, Copper and other jewelers' metals are electro bonded to the bronze to ensure an effective seal and to provide a bright, smooth surface upon which to apply the first 25 layers of 24 karat Gold. So, after the first 25 layers of 24 karat gold is set, another 25 layers of 14 or 18 karat pure Gold is bonded to the product.
