Vintage Mid Century Bowtie Dining Table (ready for painting)

Vintage mid century bowtie dining table (ready for painting). This charming and functional piece is in good vintage condition. It has age related wear, but is solid and ready for finishing touches. The table was stripped, dings filled and sanded for final finishing. The aesthetic with stain was not pleasing (see darker portion) and it was clear that this was a candidate for a very dark stain or painting. The next owner can decide how they'd like to finish it. The table was missing a metal foot, so the remaining feet were removed, as they were tarnished and worn. The table looks to be thick veneer over solid wood and has charming mid century features: bowtie design, tapered legs and beveled edges. The two ends fold down and there are two leaves that can be added to the middle. The main portion of the table is approximately 26" long x 40" wide, with each tipping extension adding 17" and each loose leaf adding 12". All extensions and leaves can be used independently.
