Vintage American Metal School Desk. Era: 1950/60s, Mid 20th century A great looking piece of 50s Americana styling, this children’s desk is a real classic. The back and seat are formed plywood, and the cast metal frame has a handy storage area underneath for pencils/books/satchel/lunchbox etc. The finish is a pale green metallic paint and we decided to leave the scuff and wear marks as they add to it’s history and character. The work desk slots into the right hand corner and is adjustable for height, tightening with an allen key fixing. Cleaned, working and sound. Size: Chair Width 38cm x Height 78cm x Length with desk 80cm. Desk area 55 x 40cm. Desk work height 70-75cm.
