Description

The Egnater Tourmaster 4212 Tube Guitar Combo Amplifier is made to perform for a lifetime with 4 amazingly customizable Channels. Each Channel let's you vary the wattage from 10 to 100 watts and in my opinion is one of it's best features because it allows you to practice at home using only 10 watts which keeps your roommates or wife from screaming, "TURN IT DOWN". Plus, you don't loose any of the tonal features of the tube amp using only 10 watts, just the volume. The variable watt setting allows you to size the amp to fit the room wherever you happen to be playing. Or you can just set it up to 100 watts and blow the roof off. Your https://offerup.co/faYXKzQFnY?$deeplink_path=/redirect/ Also, there is a classic/modern voicing switch on each Channel that lets you choose between two distinct Characters. It's packed with 2 Elite 80 twelve inch speakers (designed by Celestron). You could spend a lifetime exploring the various tones that you can get out of this amp. Each of the four Channels has it's own identical "Control Set" and can be configured independently of each other. That means you can have something like a clean jazz tone on the first channel, a crunchy blues vibe on channel two, on channel three a country twang, and heavy metal aggression on the forth channel. Not that anyone sets up like that but it just gives you an idea of how versatile and functional this 4212 amp can become. This amp is built tough with Birch plywood construction with metal corners and handles. At 105 pounds "naked", - it's heavy and can take a beating. It has a few scuffs and tiny cuts from being moved back and forth to gigs but the power grid was replaced a couple years ago so it should be good at least 10 more years I've been told. That power grid cost over $500 to replace. The amp functions in excellent condition.I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.. The Tube Driven Effects Loop can be assigned to channels 1,2,3, and 4 or All Channels. The classic/modern voicing switch let's you choose from two distinct flavors on each Channel. The Tube Driven Reverb sounds sweet also with separate controls for each Channel. Literally, this is the only amp you'll need for the rest of your life. I'm selling it because although I'm 6 foot 4 inches and have a few muscles I'm 64 and now have a difficult time moving it anymore without a lift truck. I saw on Reverb that you can preorder a new one from Italy for about $2,203 plus shipping so I think I'm priced right given what you get with this Tube Combo Guitar Amp. Thanks for your interest and should you decide to purchase this amp you will most definitely be quite pleased. Including owner's manual Here is an independent review..... I’ll be the first to admit that when Egnater’s Tourmaster 4212 combo arrived in our offices a while back, the entire staff was a bit fearful of the thing. We physically despaired at the sight of this amp; weighing a no-joke 105 pounds – the 4212 feels monolithic and immutable. The manual was thick, and the two extended rows of knobs on the front panel, spanning four channels plus a master section, were daunting as hell. Of course, it wasn’t just the looks or the weight of the Tourmaster that had us drawing straws – we’ve all seen and played our share of high-gain behemoths before. It was because it said “Egnater” on the front panel, and we knew exactly what we were dealing with. This wouldn’t just be another high-gain combo; this was courtesy of Bruce Egnater, a man who has spent the last 30 years of his life exploring the world of gain and tubes, the man who frequently brings fire back from the gods and puts it into the hands of guitarists. We were messing with powers that no one quite understood. I envisioned my face melting like Major Arnold Toht in Raiders of the Lost Arkupon strumming my first power chord. But alas, the review must go on, so I tracked down a PRS Modern Eagle II, a Les Paul, a Strat, a few cords and entered the Tourmaster’s world. While the Tourmaster 4212 (essentially the combo version of the Tourmaster 4100 head) packs in a ton of features, it’s probably easiest to envision this thing as four separate amps shoehorned into one massive, 100-watt package. With this image in mind, the amp’s imposing front panel, lined with big, chunky knobs, becomes a little easier to grasp; the 4212 features two clean channels and two overdrive channels, each of which feature Gain, Bass, Mids, Treble and Volume controls, plus a Modern/Classic switch and a switchable Contour control. The Tourmaster rounds out the front face with a set of high/low inputs and a Master section consisting of a Volume, Reverb, Presence and Density controls. Moving to the back panel reveals more possibilities. The Tourmaster possesses a fully-featured, tube-driven effects loop, including series and parallel modes, and the ability to assign it to specific channels;
