Amber Waves of Great; Classic 60s Empoli ‘Genie Bottle’ In Textured Amber: To vintage glass hunters, Empoli is synonymous with cool. In the 60s and 70s they put out a plethora of these “genie bottles” in all sorts of shapes and colors. They pretty much all came with stoppers to complete the look but they were always so fragile and delicate that 9 times out of 10 when you do find the bottle, the stopper is missing. I do like this one because of the beautiful 70s amber color and that it has a kind of embossed wavy texture. Yes, it is missing its stopper but for being 50+ years old, it’s in great shape with no cracks, chips, or breaks. It’s perfect for that groovy girl or guy who celebrates all things 70s pop culture. Measures 16” H x 13.25” Around. Here lately even the Empoli bottles without the stoppers are getting high in price with some going as high as $125. This one is more down to earth at $29. No holds without that pesky, partial, non refundable deposit that’s good for ten days while you get your passport ready to travel to Pomona. No shipping, deliveries, trades (unless it’s totally amazing), exchanges, or returns. For more vintage than you can shake a stick at, follow me, but I don’t know why you’d be shaking sticks at vintage. Sounds like a mental problem.
