This Ibanez SZR520 is in excellent condition as it does have some surface scratches from my use. There is absolutely no fret wear! I purchased this a few years ago, late 22, from the original owner who just graduated college. He got it as a kid, took a few lessons and then it sat on a stand for a decade or so! I changed out the original pickups and potentiometers as they were crap. CTS pots USA shaft dimensions and a quality cap were installed along with a pair of double cream , not dimarzio, Wolfetone PAF Dr. Vintage neck and bridge. Go do a search on these. Incredible vintage PAF Gibson tone. These have gold pole pieces because they originally had gold covers NOT included. Without covers, standard bobbins are $270 for the set and Double white isn't an option unless you social order and they must be covered. In other words, they are hard to get and expensive. If you want the original Neo pickups, I will include them if you ask for them. The neck is like a '60s slim taper. Certainly not a 50's nor a shredder thin. It's fast low action and perfect for beginners and experienced players alike. The rosewood is not as orange/light as the pictures and I tried to capture it better with a shot of the streaks in the board. I'm a bad photographer. Both the body and neck are mahogany and there is a flamed maple cap. This is not a veneer! See specs pic but you will see the cutouts by the binding. The guitar sounds and feels like a Les Paul with a more modern straight pull headstock and a PRS meets Pre pro San Dimas vibe. Yes that's a reach but imagine brass pickup rings and knobs and maybe you will see it. lol. But I digress. The guitar was set up by Rock and Roll Amps owner Jack K who did the wiring and pickup installation. Action is ridiculously low and the neck is straight and true. No dead spots no fret wear. It does not come with a case and you can get a gig bag on Amazon for $30.00. I am not looking for trades but I am open to the idea if you have something decent. No shipping.
