2013 BMW R1200RT

THIS is a 2013 BMW R1200RT that is ready to ride and ready to ride far. I purchased the bike a year ago with plans to do a west coast highway trip where I shipped the bike to Seattle and rode her down the 101 and Pacific Coast Highway in September. The bike performed amazingly with no issues whatsoever. She has all the creature comforts and they all function flawlessly: heated grips, heated rider and passenger seat, electronically adjustable windscreen, speakers and audio package, ABS, electronically adjusted suspension, digital fuel gauge, and probably some other things I'm forgetting. I performed the following upgrades and services to prepare for the trip within the last 4,000 miles. Mechanical: 1. All fluids (other than clutch actuation mineral oil) were replaced/flushed: engine oil, trans oil, gear oil, brake fluid) 2. Valve clearances were checked and in spec 3. Rear brake rotor and pads replaced (fronts are good and I have a pair of pads to throw in) 4. Front and rear drive shaft rubber boots replaced and splines greased 5. Throttle body plastic cams retrofitted with aluminum cams (they were cracked, known issue for this model that will strand you has been permanently repaired 6. Plugged in a GS tool and no codes are present. 7. Tore apart the left and right side panniers and cleaned and lubed the latching and locking mechanisms. Very smooth action now. 8. Replaced battery 9. Replaced broken front turn signal lens 10. Replaced front running lights with LEDs (one was burnt out) Comfort/Ergo: 1. Aftermarket Sargent low seat with factory heat (riders seat only). The passenger seat is factory and has factory heat. I still have the factory riders seat with heat as well. 2. Installed rider backrest 3. Bar riser plate installed. Raises the bars and brings them towards you about an inch in each direction. Installed brake line extension as well. Easy to remove to get back to factory. 4. Riders footpeg lowering kit. Drops the pegs and moves them forward about ¾ inch in each direction. Easy to remove and return to stock if desired. Can point towards youtube video if needed. 5. Handlebar phone mount attachment point added to left bar to provide a place to mount a phone/camera/GPS as actual round bar mounting points are completely lacking on this bike. Things I will throw in for the asking price: • BMW R1200 specific roadside tool kit • 12v miniature air compressor • Motorcycle tire plug kit • Two BMW power socket adapters (bike has two power ports one for rider and one for passenger) • Brake disk lock/alarm • An unused pair of nice leather gloves in size large from Indie Ridge • New front brake pads Not much bad to say about the bike. Its got some scratches and visual defects to be expected at this age. The handlebar switches have all faded with age so I took a sharpie to them so that I could tell what they all did. Cosmetic issues only! Tires were new when I bought it 4k ago and have a ways to go. I have proof of title but unfortunately its an E-title so we will have to visit a 3rd party MVD location to transfer (as of right now motorcycles cannot be transferred online). Cash in hand for any test rides. Long distance ready motorcycle.
